Thors Helmet, NGC 2359, is an emmission nebula in Canis Major. Dec. -13°, so it is difficult to capture it from Austria. But one clear night gave me the chance and I did it from my balcony. Here you can see a lot of faint H regions in the area: large You can also find a faint planetary nebula in the picture, PN G227.1+00.5. : inverted:
